LEAP FOR LITERACY

Leap for Literacy is a non-profit youth development organization in greater Atlanta where kids across the nation can earn books in exchange for acts of kindness while developing their reading and writing skills so that they grow up to be kind, well-read, accomplished adults.
Through Leap for Literacy’s Share Your Story program, Jaxon and his schoolmates had an opportunity to write their own stories. Jaxon’s story was selected as one of the few selected to be published and illustrated from his school. Students from all over the nation can participate in the virtual writing program. The program is an 8-week course where students are guided through the writing process. At the end of the program, the students will submit their books for a chance to be like Jaxon and the many other young authors!
